Refunds

• >24 Hours: Full refund minus $75 staffing fee.
• <24 Hours: Charged first night rental, no towing or ramp fees
• Airfield closed on arrival: Will be refunded.
• Airfield closed on departure: Will not be charged additional nights until field reopens.
• Pilot cancels trip due to weather: Handled individually, default goes to safe decisions.

Hours

• Standard Hours: Arrivals and departures are 10:00L – 15:30L for hangar access.
• For non standard hours: contact dispatch 530-587-4119 at least 24 hours in advance for feasibility.

Access

• Hangar Doors: Only airport personnel will allow access to pedestrian and hangar doors.
• During Business Hours: Hangar access available with escort by airport personnel.
• Post-Snow Events: Access may be delayed by a day or more after snowfall.

Weather

• Safety First: Avoid exceeding weather or personal limits, especially in the mountains.
• Winter Weather: Plan for flexibility during winter; monitor forecasts closely.
• Weather-Related Refunds: May be available if weather prevents safe arrival to KTRK.
• Services: Ramp services and fuel access may be limited during or after snow clearing.

Rules of thumb

• ~6”-8” overnight snow followed by clear skies may allow for a ~14:00L airfield opening.
• Continuous snow may cause closures lasting several days.
• Temperature, winds, snow density, and prior snowfalls all affect timing.
